Mrs. Courtney Hull began working for the Diocese of Charleston as the Associate Campus Minister at Winthrop University in September 2016.  Before moving to South Carolina, Courtney was the Catholic Campus Minister at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania for 15 years.  Courtney's journey in ministry began as an undergraduate at St. Bonaventure University, a Catholic, Franciscan university in western New York state. While at St. Bonaventure, Courtney was active in campus ministry and was a Resident Assistant her senior year.  She graduated with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Theology.  After graduation, Courtney was a full-time volunteer with Franciscan Volunteer Ministry.  For two years she served at St. Francis Inn, an inner-city soup kitchen in Philadelphia.  In 2008, Courtney earned her M.A. from St. Bonaventure in Franciscan Studies. Courtney loves to laugh and talk with students about anything and everything. She also enjoys reading and spending time with family, friends, her husband Patrick and her dog Rock and her cat Walter.  She is very excited to be ministering at Winthrop and is excited to see Winthrop Newman grow!
